As an artist-musician I am always in a realm that I love. Whether I am jamming with a Rock & Roll or Fiddle band, playing Classical pieces by Mozart, Bach or Beethoven, or sketching a woodland scene at the lake, life is full of the joys of living.

For me, the arts bring all of reality, fantasy and imagination to the front of the stage.
Artists visual and preforming have felt that through the ages of time.

One of my favourite quotes comes from Franz Liszt. At times when he would be discouraged because of criticism, he said:

" I have locked up my piano and given up music altogether. But the love of art returns of it's own accord and with an unmistakable yearning, such as those to the manner born can feel and enjoy".

All the arts have the capability to lift the spirits of not only those actively involved, but also those viewing and listening. They have ability to calm, uplift and gladden the heart. They are a gift to everyone.
